Can I install Windows Vista Beta 2 on Virtual Server 2005 R2?
Actually, the only way I can boot into Win XP is to restore the Acronis Image that I created just prior to attempting to install Vista. I can always revert back to the earlier BIOS if the Beta version doesn't help. I'm always a bit leery of Betas. -- bobbo "John Barnes" wrote: If you can still boot into windows

What if I install Vista find it does not work with "X" software etc., and I want to go back to Windows XP? Miswording in the articles. How should I install Windows Vista BETA 2? This is very important, ensure you are installing on a clean logical partition with enough free space. I've tried a couple of options: 1) Using the .iso image - VPC doesn't seem to like this. I have noticed some postings regarding a limit on the size of the .iso image (maybe 2.2GB and the beta is 2.4)? 2) Booted up a clean XPsp2 on VPC, unpackaged the iso image and attempted to install the beta by running setup.exe.
